I first heard of her playing keyboards on the Bjork world tour, apparently
she has worked with Plaid and Graham Massey too. She came over to London
from Iran in 1978 ... she says in the interview "I'm into music as a whole
thing, I mix electronics like live instruments. It's the mix when I get
busy ... If you listen to jazz or orchestrated music you've got all the
instruments battling for supremacy. Listen to Cotlrane ... the quartets
... the dynamics, that's missing in a lot of electornic music. With a live
band, incidents occur, accidental things, that's what I do with
electronics, I make it sound like the drummer fucks up or someone gets too
loud. I think those things need to occur".
